Addis Holding, one of the world’s largest providers of jack-up rigs in terms of numbers, announced that it is the largest jack-up rig operator for Saudi Aramco, with 33 jack-up rigs contracted in the Kingdom, all of which have been added since 2016, noting that its market share reached 36% on December 31, 2022.

Addis stated in a statement issued on the occasion of its announcement of its intention to offer 30% of its shares on “Tadawul” that the group is currently implementing one of the largest jack-up rig operating projects awarded by Saudi Aramco to drilling companies after the group won two major competitions in 2022, which included a total of 16 jack-up rigs in addition to 3 contracted jack-up rigs that were transferred to the group after its acquisition of Seadrill drilling rigs, bringing the total number of jack-up rigs to 19 to be delivered to Saudi Aramco.
